National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov extended congratulations and best wishes to Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei on the occasion of election as Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Turkmenistan’s official media reported Tuesday.
The chairman of the Halk Maslahaty wished the Supreme Leader good health and great success in all endeavors for the peace and prosperity of the Iranian people.
Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei was elected the third Supreme Leader of Iran.
Earlier, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, on behalf of the people of Turkmenistan, expressed condolences to Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian and the Iranian people over the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Hosseini Khamenei.
