Türkmenpoçta Plans Delivery of Amazon, eBay, Wildberries Orders to Turkmenistan

Turkmenistan’s postal service company Türkmenpoçta is working to launch new services aimed at organizing the delivery to Turkmenistan of goods purchased on major international e-commerce platforms and online stores, including Omniva, Amazon, eBay, AliExpress, Rakuten, Wildberries, Adex and Internet Resheniya, the Turkmentelecom Telecommunication company  reported Wednesday.

According to the report, to enable electronic data exchange, the tracking of international postal shipments and the digitalization of postal services, Türkmenpoçta has been connected to the digital systems of the Universal Postal Union — IPS (International Postal System) and CDS (Customs Declaration System).

This creates opportunities for reliable and efficient delivery of international postal shipments, their tracking, the automation of logistics operations, improved customer service, as well as the fast and secure exchange of large volumes of data, the source said.

Türkmenpoçta is currently continuing to establish cooperation with foreign companies, expand logistics and introduce modern solutions in the field of e-commerce and postal delivery.

Türkmenpoçta has been a member of the Universal Postal Union since 1993 and currently maintains multilateral cooperation with 192 foreign postal operators.
