Deals totaling 31 million 775 thousand manats were concluded at trading sessions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) on Wednesday, the exchange reported.
For the domestic market, Turkmen entrepreneurs signed contracts with the state concern Türkmennebit for the purchase of polypropylene grade TPP Z 30 G, with the state association Türkmengallaönümleri for the supply of first-grade wheat flour, and with the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan for the purchase of cotton yarn.
For foreign currency, entrepreneurs from Türkiye purchased polypropylene grade TPP D 30 S from Türkmennebit, while entrepreneurs from Kyrgyzstan bought textile products from Turkmen businessmen. The total value of the transactions amounted to 5 million 135 thousand 941.40 U.S. dollars.
During the past week, Turkmen entrepreneurs concluded deals for the domestic market at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan totaling 253 million 664 thousand 200 manats.
