Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Bahar Seyidova on Friday reported on preparations for celebrations of the national spring holiday — International Nowruz Day.
According to official media, festivities will begin with cultural events in Nowruz Ýaýlasy in Ahal province. The program is based on works by Halk Maslahaty Chairman Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, as well as national traditions associated with Nowruz.
Seyidova said the events will feature performances by creative groups, exhibitions, and productions reflecting folk traditions in farming, livestock, horticulture, crafts, and family celebrations. A festive concert by masters of culture and art is also planned.
The proposal was submitted to the president for consideration.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed the deputy prime minister to ensure proper preparation and high-level conduct of the events.
Other important state issues were also discussed at the meeting, and relevant decisions were adopted.
