Polypropylene Worth 84 Million Manats Sold at SCRMET

Turkmen entrepreneurs purchased polypropylene worth 84 million manats during trading at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) on Friday.

According to the exchange, local entrepreneurs signed contracts to buy polypropylene grades TPP Z 30 G and TPP D 30 S. The products were manufactured at enterprises of the Turkmennebit State Concern.

Entrepreneurs from the United Arab Emirates purchased polypropylene grade TPP D 30 S produced by the Turkmennebit State Concern, as well as first-grade wheat flour from local entrepreneurs for foreign currency. The total value of these transactions amounted to $1.65 million.

During the past week, Turkmen entrepreneurs concluded contracts for the domestic market at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan totaling 253 million 664 thousand 200 manats.
