The Turkmen entrepreneurs bought low-grade technical sulfur from state concern Turkmengas for 100 million manats at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) on Saturday, the exchange said.
They also purchased SN-180 base oil from state concern Turkmennebit for the domestic market.
Turkish buyers acquired washed karakul wool — spring, autumn, and lamb fleece — with foreign currency, while buyers from the United Arab Emirates purchased first-grade wheat flour from local businesses. The total value of these deals was $1.32 million.
A total of 14 transactions were concluded at Saturday’s session.
