The international forum Tashkent Water Week 2026, focused on water management challenges in Central Asia, will be held March 25–26 in Tashkent.
The event will bring together government officials, representatives of international organizations, experts, and water sector professionals to discuss the region’s growing water scarcity, according to the forum’s official website.
The platform aims to unite specialists from different countries to share experiences, explore technological solutions, and develop joint approaches to water management.
The forum’s main theme is “Technologies and Innovations in Water Resources Management. Central Asia and the Global Water Cycle.” The program will include high-level plenary sessions and thematic panel discussions on sustainable development, transboundary water cooperation, and the adoption of modern technologies in the water sector.
Experts will also address interstate coordination of water use, agricultural development, digitalization of water supply systems, and training of specialists for the water sector.
