Turkmenistan’s Ambassador to Japan Atadurdy Bayramov met March 23, 2026, at the office of the International Horticultural Expo 2027 Yokohama Association with Secretary-General Masato Komura to discuss Turkmenistan’s participation in Green EXPO 2027 Yokohama.
The International Horticultural Expo 2027 Yokohama will be held from March 19 to Sept. 26, 2027, in Yokohama, Japan, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Japan reported Wednesday.
During the meeting, the ambassador said the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan has been appointed as the general commissioner responsible for coordinating the country’s participation in the exhibition.
The Japanese side expressed appreciation for Turkmenistan’s intention to take part in the exhibition and emphasized the organizing association’s readiness to make all necessary efforts to ensure the country’s successful participation.
On March 25, 2026, Ambassador Bayramov also met with Japan’s State Minister for Foreign Affairs Ayano Kunimitsu.
