A Belarusian business delegation visited Turkmenistan from March 14 to 20, with preparations for entering the local market as a key focus of the trip.

According to the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the program included B2B meetings with Turkmen entrepreneurs and representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan. The sides discussed opportunities for direct supplies and the development of industrial cooperation.

Preliminary agreements were reached on the supply of Belarusian sausage products to Turkmenistan. The sides also considered imports of Turkmen fruits and vegetables, as well as prospects for introducing Belarusian IT solutions in the banking sector.

During the visit, the delegation visited the Ashgabat textile complex and enterprises of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan. Belarusian representatives also took part in the IFT 2026, held to mark the 18th anniversary of the Union.

A separate meeting was held with Stanislav Chepurny, Belarusian ambassador to Turkmenistan, during which legal aspects, logistics and settlement mechanisms — key conditions for market entry — were discussed in detail.

According to Belshina, an agreement was signed during the visit to supply the company’s tire products to Turkmenistan.
