Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Nokerguly Atagulyyev met with Georgia’s Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Mariam Kvrivishvili on March 30, 2026. The sides discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral economic relations.
According to the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Georgia, particular attention was paid to expanding trade and economic cooperation, promoting mutual investment, and implementing joint projects in priority areas.
The sides expressed interest in developing cooperation in energy, transport, the digital economy, and innovation, emphasizing the importance of creating favorable conditions for direct contacts between the business communities of Turkmenistan and Georgia.
The meeting also highlighted the role of the intergovernmental Turkmen-Georgian Commission on Economic Cooperation in coordinating bilateral engagement, ensuring systematic dialogue between relevant institutions, and implementing agreements reached.
Following the meeting, the sides reaffirmed their intention to further deepen bilateral cooperation and continue a constructive dialogue.
