A delegation of the Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov is preparing to visit Belarus to expand humanitarian cooperation, Belarusian Ambassador to Turkmenistan Stanislav Chepurnoy said in a message marking the foundation’s fifth anniversary, the Embassy of Belarus in Turkmenistan reported Monday.
The visit will include meetings with representatives of the Belarusian Children’s Fund and the National Rehabilitation Center for Children with Disabilities. The focus will be on exchanging professional experience and identifying new areas of cooperation.
The partnership has already produced practical results, Chepurnoy said. Belarus has provided the Children’s Health and Rehabilitation Center in the city of Arkadag with a specialized development complex designed to support fine motor skills and cognitive development, as well as a sample of children’s orthopedic footwear.
Founded in March 2021, the foundation has developed partnerships with international organizations of a similar profile. It has assisted children affected by natural disasters in various countries and provided medical treatment for children in need in Turkmenistan.
