Domestic entrepreneurs purchased first-grade wheat flour from the state association Turkmengallaonumleri for a total of 30.858 million manats at trading on the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) on Monday, the exchange said.
Turkmen entrepreneurs also concluded several other deals: with the State Association of Food Industry for the purchase of crude fatty acid from cotton soapstock; with the Turkmennebit concern for base oils SN-350 and SN-600; and with the Ministry of Textile Industry for textile products. The total value of these transactions amounted to 3.371 million manats.
Business representatives from Georgia and Afghanistan purchased polypropylene grade TPP D3820 BF from Turkmennebit, while companies from the United Arab Emirates bought base oil SN-600.
Last week, transactions worth more than $350.7 million were concluded at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.
