The total volume of cashless transactions using bank cards in Turkmenistan exceeded 3.4 billion manats in January–February 2026, according to the electronic journal Bank habarlary published by the Central Bank of Turkmenistan.
Payments made via terminals during the period totaled 2.701 billion manats.
According to the Central Bank, payments conducted through the e-commerce system exceeded 551.592 million manats in January–February, while transactions via the mobile banking system surpassed 26.837 million manats.
The total volume of cashless payments carried out through ATMs exceeded 76.259 million manats, while transactions via the internet banking system amounted to more than 2.237 million manats.
More than 43.469 million manats in cashless payments were processed through the Halkbank terminal system, the report said.
