National Leader of Turkmen People, Chairman of Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, congratulated Valentina Matviyenko, Chairwoman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, on her birthday during a telephone call. He conveyed his personal wishes and those of Turkmenistan’s president, wishing her good health, happiness, and continued success in her state, political, and international activities, according to official Turkmen media on Tuesday.
Berdimuhamedov highlighted Matviyenko’s personal contribution to strengthening friendly relations between Turkmenistan and Russia, as well as to developing Turkmen-Russian cooperation across various sectors.
Matviyenko expressed her gratitude for the congratulations and kind words, noting the importance of the Halk Maslahaty chairman’s role in further enhancing bilateral relations based on friendship and mutual respect.
At the conclusion of the call, both sides wished each other continued health and success in their official duties, and prosperity and well-being for the peoples of their countries.
