Turkmenistan’s Ambassador to the United States, Esen Aydogdyyev, presented copies of credentials to U.S. Chief of Protocol Monica Crowley during an official ceremony held Thursday at the President’s Guest House, Blair House, in Washington, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the United States reported.
According to the statement, representatives of the U.S. Department of State also attended the event, including Deputy Assistant Secretary of State John Pommersheim.

Following the ceremony, the U.S. side hosted an official reception in honor of the newly appointed diplomats.
The sides exchanged views on the further development of bilateral cooperation between Turkmenistan and the United States.
