The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) sold cotton fiber worth 67.635 million manats at auctions on Wednesday, the exchange reported.

Turkmen entrepreneurs purchased cotton fiber from the 2024 harvest from the state concern Turkmenpagta for subsequent export.

Local buyers also signed deals with the state concern Turkmennebit to purchase TPP Z 30 G grade polypropylene worth 9.68 million manats.

For foreign currency, business representatives from Hong Kong purchased SN-600 base oil and cotton yarn, with total transactions amounting to $815,480.

Traders from Türkiye also bought first-grade wheat flour worth $1.518 million.

Last week, total transactions at SCRMET auctions reached $28.074 million.
