Turkmenistan ranked among the top 10 import suppliers to Uzbekistan in January–February 2026, with exports totaling $121.5 million, according to data from the national statistics committee published Wednesday.
Uzbekistan’s total imports reached $8.1 billion in the first two months of the year, up 29.8% compared with the same period in 2025. During the reporting period, the country imported goods and services from more than 135 countries.
China was the largest import partner, followed by Russia and Kazakhstan.
As of March 1, 2026, Uzbekistan had 18 enterprises with Turkmen capital operating in the construction sector and 15 in the transport sector.
