A trader from Uzbekistan purchased Portland cement worth $16.368 million at an auction of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) on Friday, the exchange reported.
The Uzbek trader also signed a deal with the state concern Türkmennebit for the purchase of SN-600 base oil. The contract was valued at $195,000.
A total of two transactions were concluded at Friday’s trading session.
At Wednesday’s exchange auctions, cotton fiber was sold for a total of 67.635 million manats.
