Investments totaling 8.781 billion manats (about $2.5 billion) are set to be directed toward the socio-economic development of Ashgabat in 2026, according to official media citing the country’s socio-economic development and investment program.
The largest share of funding — 3.68 billion manats, or 41.9% of the total — is allocated to the construction of industrial facilities and the modernization of existing infrastructure.
Planned measures in the capital include upgrading the city’s architectural appearance, expanding green spaces, constructing new residential complexes, and modernizing engineering and utility systems.
Construction of 10 apartment buildings in the Parahat-7 residential complex is scheduled for completion in September. The project includes four nine-story buildings with 36 apartments each, four with 54 apartments each, and two with 72 apartments each.
