National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov arrived in London on Saturday for a visit.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov was seen off by officials at Ashgabat International Airport, the Watan habarlary news program reported.
Several hours later, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov’s aircraft landed at an international airport in London.
The visit to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland is taking place at the invitation of Prince Edward, Duke of Edinburgh.
According to the report, the United Kingdom is one of Turkmenistan’s important partners. Diplomatic relations between the two countries were established in 1992.
