The Tbilisi TV Tower was illuminated in the colors of Turkmenistan’s State Flag on May 17–18, 2026, in honor of the country’s national holiday, Constitution and State Flag Day, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Georgia reported.
According to the statement, the festive illumination of one of Tbilisi’s landmarks reflects the significance of national holidays, as well as respect for historical traditions and state values.
The symbolic gesture highlights mutual friendship, cooperation and cultural ties between the two peoples and reflects the high level of Turkmen-Georgian relations.
Constitution and State Flag Day is widely marked in Turkmenistan on May 18 each year.
