A delegation of parliamentarians from Turkmenistan visited the United States as part of the Open World program aimed at developing ties between the legislative bodies of the United States and foreign countries.

During the visit, the Turkmen lawmakers met with Sydney Kamlager-Dove, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, who reported the meeting on her account on the social media platform X.

The meeting focused on expanding interparliamentary cooperation between Turkmenistan and the United States, as well as on the outcomes of the C5+1 summit held last year.

The Open World program is supported by the U.S. Congress and administered by the Open World Leadership Center. The initiative is aimed at developing professional and cultural exchanges, as well as strengthening mutual understanding and cooperation between representatives of the United States and foreign countries.
