The total outstanding amount of loans issued by Turkmenistan’s credit institutions to enterprises, organizations and the population in the national currency reached 98.554 billion manats as of April 1, 2026. The total outstanding loan balance stood at 89.936 billion manats as of April 1, 2025. The figures were published in the electronic journal Bank habarlary issued by the Central Bank of Turkmenistan.

As of April 1, 2026, the outstanding amount of loans issued to state institutions and enterprises totaled 45.925 billion manats. The total outstanding loan balance as of April 1, 2025, amounted to 48.523 billion manats.

According to the data, as of April 1, 2026, the total outstanding amount of loans issued to the country’s private sector in the national currency reached 20.629 billion manats. As of April 1, 2025, the total outstanding balance of these loans stood at 15.220 billion manats.

The total outstanding amount of loans issued to citizens and entrepreneurs operating without establishing a legal entity amounted to 32 billion manats during the reporting period. As of April 1, 2025, the total outstanding loan balance stood at 26.194 billion manats.
