Garagum Economic Society, one of the leading nonwoven manufacturers in Central Asia, is showcasing its latest developments at INDEX 2026, taking place from May 19 to 22 in Geneva.
This marks Garagum’s second participation in INDEX. The company first presented its products at the prestigious global exhibition in 2023. Returning to the exhibition with an updated product range and expanded display highlights the company’s continued strengthening of its international presence, focus on long-term cooperation and ongoing improvement of production technologies.
Today, Garagum exports to more than 15 countries, ranging from Brazil and the United Kingdom to Germany, Romania and Central Asian states. The company’s products are used in the medical, hygiene, industrial and packaging sectors. Each product is developed in accordance with international quality standards and adapted to meet the requirements of demanding customers.
The company’s high production standards are confirmed by four ISO certifications, including ISO 13485, the international quality management system standard for medical devices. Garagum’s medical manufacturing operations are officially licensed by Turkmenistan’s Ministry of Health.
Since 2022, Garagum has been a member of EDANA, the leading international association representing the nonwovens industry and related sectors.
At the Garagum exhibition stand, the product line under the Arkadag Medical Cluster brand attracted particular interest from international visitors and industry experts. The showcased developments demonstrated that Garagum is purposefully and confidently expanding its expertise in the medical sector by offering solutions that meet modern industry standards.
Garagum’s participation in INDEX 2026 became not only a demonstration of the company’s manufacturing capabilities, but also confirmation of Turkmenistan’s growing export and industrial potential aimed at expanding international cooperation and promoting domestic products in global markets.
