National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on Wednesday participated in the Eid al-Adha prayer at the Turkmenbashi Ruhy Mosque.
According to the Watan news program, Berdimuhamedov congratulated those gathered on the occasion of the holiday and wished that the prayers and sadaqah offered during Eid al-Adha would be accepted by the Almighty.
Following the prayer, attendees offered prayers for peace and stability in the country, the well-being of the people, and continued prosperity.
Later that day, Berdimuhamedov hosted a sadaqah meal at the Märkaw cultural and entertainment center in the city of Arkadag. The imam of Ahal Region delivered a prayer for the acceptance of the sadaqah.
Meals were then served to participants. Berdimuhamedov wished for the acceptance of the sadaqah before departing the venue.
