A fashion show featuring designers and brands from several countries became the highlight of the business and cultural program of the international TurkmenTextile Expo 2026 exhibition in Ashgabat, according to the news portal THP.

Collections blending national traditions with contemporary global trends were presented by the Ashgabat-based fashion house Miras, as well as brands and designers from Morocco, Oman, France, Uzbekistan, and Russia, the organizers said.

Among the participants in the runway show were Wafaa Idrissi, Maison Claude Patrick, Goç Ýigit, and Emine Bridal. According to the organizers, the event was designed not only as a showcase of fashion collections but also as a business platform fostering engagement with international buyers.

Honorary guests included Carlo D’Amario, Chief Executive Officer of the Vivienne Westwood brand, and Marzio Nocera, founder of the Italian media platform Fashion Channel. Organizers noted that Fashion Channel, which covers Fashion Weeks in Milan and Paris, will film the runway shows in Ashgabat.

TurkmenTextile Expo 2026 is being held in Ashgabat from June 4 to 6. The exhibition features textile machinery and equipment, clothing, footwear and leather goods, home and eco-textiles, chemicals and dyes, accessories and sewing supplies, as well as products related to fashion, design, beauty, and jewelry.
