More than 100 executives from Turkish companies and representatives of the private sector attended a Turkmen-Turkish business forum in Denizli, where Turkmenistan presented its investment opportunities, Turkmenistan’s official media reported on Thursday.
The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Türkiye organized the forum on June 11 at the Denizli Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Commodity Exchange building. The event aimed to introduce Turkish businesses to investment opportunities in the Turkmen economy.
During the forum, speakers noted that Turkmenistan promotes international trade and economic cooperation based on the principles of mutual respect, equality, and trust. Participants also received information on government measures to support the private sector, attract foreign investment, and create favorable conditions for doing business.
The two sides exchanged views on attracting Turkish investment to the oil and gas chemical industry, the agro-industrial sector, transport and logistics, telecommunications, and information technologies. During the event also showed a video highlighting Turkmenistan’s investment potential. Participants paid special attention to the country’s efforts to introduce environmentally friendly and green technologies across various sectors of the economy.
According to nCa, Turkmenistan’s Ambassador to Türkiye Mekan Ishanguliyev also held meetings in Denizli with Yavuz Selim Köşger, Bülent Nuri Çavuşoğlu, and Mahmut Güngör. The discussions focused on expanding cooperation in education, culture, the humanities, trade and investment, as well as strengthening Turkmen-Turkish relations.
