The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Georgia Dovletmyrat Seyitmammedov held a meeting on Friday with Georgia’s Minister of Internal Affairs, S. Tamazashvili, according to the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Georgia.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to ensuring public safety, strengthening the rule of law, and improving mechanisms of mutual cooperation.
The Turkmen diplomat emphasized the importance of further strengthening the trust-based dialogue between the relevant agencies and noted that cooperation between law enforcement bodies is one of the important areas of bilateral relations.
For his part, Georgia’s Minister of Internal Affairs confirmed his readiness to deepen cooperation and implement joint initiatives aimed at increasing the effectiveness of the work of the relevant institutions.
At the end of the meeting, the parties noted the importance of continuing bilateral meetings on a regular basis and further developing mutually beneficial cooperation.
