The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the U.S. Esen Aydogdyyev held a meeting with U.S. Senator Steve Daines in Washington on Tuesday, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the U.S. reported.

During the meeting, the paties discussed ways to further strengthen Turkmen-U.S. relations. In particular, they reviewed issues related to expanding cooperation in the political, economic, trade and energy sectors.

The sides also exchanged views on upcoming meetings and events, emphasizing the importance of maintaining regular dialogue and expanding mutually beneficial cooperation.

Diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and the United States established on February 19, 1992. The two countries steadily developed cooperation in the political, economic and humanitarian spheres.

2022
