Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, on behalf of the people and Government of Turkmenistan, as well as personally, extended heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to U.S. President Donald Trump and the American people on the occasion of the 250th anniversary of U.S. Independence. Turkmenistan's official media reported on Saturday.

In his message, the President of Turkmenistan emphasized that Turkmenistan highly values cooperation with the United States based on the principles of mutual respect and trust. The head of state also reaffirmed the Turkmen side's readiness to continue making efforts to further develop constructive dialogue and mutually beneficial partnership that serves the interests of the peoples of the two countries.

In conclusion, the President of Turkmenistan wished Donald Trump good health, happiness and well-being, and wished the people of the United States peace, continued progress and prosperity.

U.S. Independence Day is celebrated annually on July 4 to mark the adoption of the Declaration of Independence in 1776, which proclaimed the establishment of the United States of America as an Independent state. In 2026, the country marks the 250th anniversary of this historic event.
