Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Nokerguly Atagulyyev, during a Cabinet of Ministers meeting held in digital format on Friday, reported on the progress of preparations for the upcoming meeting of the Turkmen–Tajik Business Council, Turkmen state media reported on Friday.
According to the report, the necessary work is underway in preparation for the second meeting of the Council, which will be held in Dushanbe. The main objective of the structure is the further development of mutually beneficial trade and economic relations between Turkmenistan and Tajikistan. Representatives of ministries and sectoral agencies, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan will take part in the event. In this regard, the Deputy Prime Minister presented the relevant proposal on organizing the meeting to the Head of State.
After hearing the report, the Head of State noted that Turkmenistan is consistently expanding trade and economic cooperation with foreign countries and instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to properly prepare for the holding of the Turkmen–Tajik Business Council meeting.
The Cabinet meeting also reviewed several other state issues and adopted corresponding decisions.
