The total outstanding amount of loans issued by Turkmenistan’s credit institutions to enterprises, organizations and the population in the national currency reached 100.198 billion manats as of June 1, 2026. The total outstanding loan balance stood at 89.774 billion manats as of June 1, 2025. The figures were published in the electronic journal Bank habarlary issued by the Central Bank of Turkmenistan.

As of June 1, 2026, the outstanding amount of loans issued to state institutions and enterprises totaled 45.937 billion manats. The total outstanding loan balance as of June 1, 2025, amounted to 47.138 billion manats.

According to the data, as of June 1, 2026, the total outstanding amount of loans issued to the country’s private sector in the national currency reached 20.610 billion manats. As of June 1, 2025, the total outstanding balance of these loans stood at 15.281 billion manats.

The total outstanding amount of loans issued to citizens and entrepreneurs operating without establishing a legal entity amounted to 33.650 billion manats during the reporting period. As of June 1, 2025, the total outstanding loan balance stood at 27.354 billion manats.
