Georgian Vice Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili and Turkmenistan's Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov discussed the upcoming official visit of the President of Turkmenistan to Georgia during a telephone conversation on July 9, Georgia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.
During the сonversation, the foreign ministers reviewed issues of bilateral cooperation and discussed preparations for the forthcoming visit of the President of Turkmenistan.
The two sides also underscored the importance of expanding cooperation between Georgia and the countries of Central Asia.
In addition, the ministers discussed prospects for the further development of bilateral relations and reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining dialogue at a high level.
