The officials noted that Turkmenistan–U.S. cooperation has remained active in recent years and emphasized the important role of ongoing dialogue and official visits in strengthening bilateral relations.

They also discussed the current state of cooperation and prospects for expanding ties in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian fields.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Meredov thanked Rood for her contribution to advancing cooperation between the two countries and wished her success in her future career. Rood, in turn, expressed gratitude to Turkmenistan's leadership for the support and assistance provided during her diplomatic service in the country.
