The individual enterprise owned by Amandursun Begjanova is working to launch exports of Balam branded confectionery products to China, the Rysgal newspaper reported on Monday.
Balam confectionery products are currently exported to Russia, Georgia, Iraq, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Afghanistan. The company plans to further expand its export geography.
The enterprise produces more than 50 types of confectionery using modern Italian equipment. Its product range includes Ýürek, Balam, Nowruz, Bitaraplyk and Garagum layered pastries, croissants, semi-finished products and Balam chocolate spread.
The company also produces several types of bakery products and diet bread supplied to retail outlets across Turkmenistan. Production relies largely on locally sourced raw materials, with particular attention paid to product quality and compliance with sanitary standards. Expanding exports and participating in international exhibitions have helped strengthen the Balam brand's position in foreign markets.
The confectionery enterprise was established in Ashgabat in 2016. Its production facilities are equipped with modern machinery from Switzerland and other European countries.
