President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent a congratulatory message to Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili on the occasion of his 55th birthday, Turkmen state media reported.
In his message, Berdimuhamedov said the friendly relations between Turkmenistan and Georgia, based on mutual respect, trust and equal partnership, continue to develop across a wide range of areas.
The Turkmen president also recalled their meeting in Tbilisi during his recent state visit to Georgia and again thanked Kavelashvili for the warm hospitality and reception extended to him.
Berdimuhamedov praised Kavelashvili's personal contribution to strengthening Turkmen-Georgian relations and expressed confidence that bilateral cooperation would continue to expand through joint efforts for the benefit of both countries.
He wished the Georgian president good health, continued success in his public service and extended his wishes for peace, prosperity and continued well-being to the people of Georgia.
