Ashgabat to host a Turkmen-Uzbek business forum from July 27 to 29, 2026, aimed at strengthening trade and economic cooperation between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, expanding business ties and discussing new investment projects, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan reported.
The forum is expected to include bilateral meetings and B2B negotiations. The parties plan to discuss cooperation in the construction sector, present the production capabilities of enterprises, and consider prospects for implementing new joint projects.
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan is currently preparing for the forum to ensure it is held at a high organizational level and to create all the necessary conditions for the effective work of delegations from both countries.
The business forum is expected to help boost trade and economic relations between the two countries, establish new partnerships between entrepreneurs and launch promising joint initiatives.
Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan have steadily expanded trade and economic cooperation in recent years. In June, Ashgabat hosted the 19th meeting of the Turkmen-Uzbek Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technical and Cultural Cooperation, where the parties discussed expanding cooperation in trade, transport, logistics, agriculture and industry.
