The total outstanding balance of loans issued in the national currency by Turkmenistan's credit institutions to enterprises, organizations and individuals exceeded 101.1 billion manats as of July 1, 2026. The total outstanding loan balance stood at 90.953 billion manats as of July 1, 2025, according to the latest issue of the Bank Habarlary electronic journal published by the Central Bank of Turkmenistan.

Outstanding loans extended in the national currency to state-owned enterprises and organizations totaled 46.086 billion manats as of July 1, 2026. The total outstanding loan balance as of June 1, 2025, amounted to 47.524 billion manats.

According to the data, as of July 1, 2026, the total outstanding amount of loans issued to the country’s private sector in the national currency reached 20.405 billion manats. As of July 1, 2025, the total outstanding balance of these loans stood at 15.433 billion manats.

During the reporting period, the total outstanding amount of loans issued to citizens and entrepreneurs operating without establishing a legal entity amounted to 34.636 billion manats. As of July 1, 2025, the total outstanding loan balance stood at 27.995 billion manats.
