Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent congratulations and best wishes to South Korean President Lee Jae Myung on the country’s Liberation Day, Turkmen state media reported Saturday.
The President noted the high level of friendly relations and mutually beneficial cooperation between Turkmenistan and South Korea. He expressed confidence that joint efforts would help further develop bilateral cooperation in the interests of the two peoples.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished Lee Jae Myung good health, happiness and well-being, and the people of South Korea peace, continued development and prosperity.
South Korea celebrates Liberation Day on August 15, marking the country’s liberation from Japanese colonial rule on August 15, 1945. South Korea officially designated the date as a national holiday in 1949.
