The Mahabat Directorate of the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography has developed a multimedia platform for children Nowça TV. The platform was presented at the “Kids EXPO: Everything for Children” international exhibition in Ashgabat. Yazgul Udiyeva, a specialist at the Mahabat Directorate, shared this information with Business Turkmenistan during an interview at the Kids EXPO-2026 exhibition.
The Nowça TV mobile app features cartoons, songs, programs and videos for children of different age groups. Along with Turkmen cartoons, the platform also offers animated content produced abroad.
One of the platform’s key features is that parents can select content based on their children’s age. They can also set limits on how long their children can use the app, choosing intervals such as 30 minutes, one hour or another period of their choice.
During the presentation, the new Turkmen 3D animated series Menekliler, available on the platform, was shown to the public for the first time. Produced by MenzilMekan Animation, the series explores friendship, mutual assistance, respect and kindness. Its main characters embark on different adventures in each episode.
The Nowça TV app is currently available through a link sent in response to an SMS containing 11 to the short number 0530. The app will soon also be available on Android and iOS platforms.
