President of Turkmenistan Appoints and Dismisses Several Prosecutors

President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country Serdar Berdimuhamedov, chaired a regular meeting of the State Security Council on Friday, during which he signed a decree on the appointment and dismissal of prosecutors, according to Turkmenistan’s official media.

In accordance with Article 16 of the Law of Turkmenistan “On the Prosecutor’s Office of Turkmenistan,” Justice Adviser Serdar Otuzovich Hojamgulyýew was dismissed as prosecutor of Balkanabat city in Balkan province. Under the decree, Second-Class Jurist Azat Shahergeldiyev was appointed prosecutor of Balkanabat city in Balkan province.

By decree of Turkmenistan President and Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Justice Adviser Dowletgeldi Gurbanmammedovich Mammetamanov was dismissed as prosecutor of Mary city in Mary province, and Second-Class Jurist Sapaguly Rasulgulyyevich Welbekov was appointed prosecutor of Mary city in Mary province.

Justice Adviser Batyr Rozmyradovich Artykov was also dismissed as prosecutor of Garagum district in Mary province. Second-Class Jurist Bayrammuhammet Charymammet ogly Yaryyew was appointed prosecutor of Garagum district in Mary province.

In addition, Justice Adviser Shirguly Bashimkulyyevich Shirkulyyev was dismissed as prosecutor of Dowletli district in Lebap province.
