Turkmenistan’s Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov met with newly appointed European Union Ambassador to Turkmenistan Luc Pierre Devigne on Sept. 9, 2026, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reported Wednesday.
During the meeting, Meredov congratulated Devigne on his appointment and wished him success in his diplomatic mission in Turkmenistan.
The sides exchanged views on a wide range of issues of mutual interest and emphasized the importance of continuing regular dialogue and constructive cooperation.
They also expressed particular interest in further expanding practical cooperation and developing relations in key areas.
The sides reaffirmed their readiness to maintain constructive engagement and undertake joint efforts to further develop cooperation.
