The “Turkmenhemrasy” Close Joint Stock Company of the “Turkmenaragatnashyk” Agency of Turkmenistan participated in the International Space Summit held in Paris, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in France reported.
Batyr Orazdurdyyev, director of “Turkmenhemrasy” CJSC, the national authority directly responsible for developing and implementing Turkmenistan’s space activities, participated in the summit as part of the Turkmen delegation.
The summit, which brought together nearly 2,000 participants from various countries and international organizations, as well as representatives of the space industry, scientific community and investor groups, was held in Paris on Sept. 9–10.
On the first day of the summit, participants discussed at roundtables and parallel sessions a range of issues related to ensuring global access to space, developing space infrastructure and industrial production, the use of artificial intelligence and advanced technologies, and training specialists for the space sector. They also discussed a wide range of issues related to strengthening international cooperation in Earth and ocean observation.
