International research and consultancy company Oxford Business Group (OBG) will participate for the first time as an Education Partner in the Turkmenistan Investment Forum 2026 (TIF 2026), which will be held in Ashgabat on Oct. 1-2, organizers reported.
Founded in 1994, Oxford Business Group specializes in economic research and investment analysis in emerging markets. The company operates in more than 40 countries, combining its international research network with work on the ground. OBG provides businesses and government institutions with data and analysis to assess investment opportunities, understand sector trends and make informed decisions. Its research and analysis are used by international investors, corporate executives and government officials.
OBG’s participation in TIF 2026 for the first time is expected to contribute to expanding international expertise and business cooperation with Turkmenistan. The partnership will also help bring the forum’s investment agenda to a broader international audience and promote Turkmenistan as a destination for exploring new cooperation opportunities.
The Turkmen-American Business Cooperation Association (TABCA) is also among the Education Partners of the forum.
The forum’s business program will focus on the development of the energy and petrochemical industries, transport corridors involving the Caspian region and the Middle Corridor, the digital economy and virtual assets, green development projects, the agro-industrial complex, tourism and urban infrastructure, as well as water resource management. A separate panel discussion will also examine the use of artificial intelligence in the economy and its impact on investment activity.
The forum will also feature meetings with government representatives, a practical seminar on legal and financial issues related to implementing investment projects, and events aimed at establishing business contacts with international financial institutions and business groups.
