More than 200 foreign companies from over 40 countries will participate in the Turkmenistan Investment Forum 2026 (TIF 2026), which will be held Oct. 1-2 in Ashgabat. Registered participants include major international companies such as Mitsubishi Corporation, Samsung C&T, John Deere and TotalEnergies, according to the forum’s organizer Turkmencongress
Japanese businesses at the forum will include Mitsubishi Corporation, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, ITOCHU, Sumitomo Corporation, Kawasaki Heavy Industries and Mizuho Bank. South Korea will be represented by Samsung C&T and Daewoo Engineering, while Germany will be represented by John Deere, CLAAS, WIRTGEN Group and Siemens Energy.
Damen Shipyards, TotalEnergies, Dragon Oil, ADNOC and Toyota Central Asia will also participate. The financial sector will be represented by Oppenheimer & Co. and Moody’s, the legal sector by Fieldfisher, and the technology sector by Canaan and Bitdeer. International financial institutions listed among the participants include the World Bank, International Finance Corporation (IFC), Asian Development Bank, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Islamic Development Bank and China Export & Credit Insurance Corporation.
Companies will also represent specific sectors: John Deere, CLAAS and Jiangsu World in agriculture; Samsung C&T, WIRTGEN Group, Gap İnşaat and Rönesans in construction; and Siemens Energy, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and Tatneft in oil and gas. Damen Shipyards, TAV Technologies and Betamont will represent logistics, while export-oriented platforms will include Karavan of Türkiye, AEEX of China and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, Tatarstan Trade House and TABCA of the United States.
Turkmen companies participating in the forum include Hazar Gurluşyk, Türkmen Enjam, Aýdyň Gijeler, Beýik Ýüpek Ýoly, Watan Rowaçlygy, Dowa, Ak Harman, Ýedi-Ýer, Döwlet Gurluşyk, Nexia Turkmenistan and Hukukçy.
According to the organizers, participants can independently schedule meetings with other delegates. Each registered delegate will have access to a personal Attendee Hub account and the TIF 2026 mobile application. The application provides a list of participants and information about their activities. To schedule a meeting, a delegate selects a company of interest and sends a request through the application. The parties then agree on the time and location of the meeting.
The forum’s business program includes eight thematic sessions covering the oil and gas and chemical industries; energy and construction; transport and logistics; trade and public-private partnerships; agribusiness; cooperation with international financial institutions; virtual assets; and innovation and the green transition.
