Turkmenistan President Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent a letter of condolences to Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and ruler of Dubai, over the death of his brother, Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
In the letter, the Turkmen President expressed his condolences and heartfelt sympathy to Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and his family members, Turkmenistan’s official media reported.
“May Almighty Allah grant you spiritual strength and patience during this difficult time. May the deceased rest in peace and may his faith accompany him,” Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized in his message.
Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum died on Sept. 21, 2026, and the Dubai Ruler’s Court declared 10 days of official mourning in the emirate following his death.
