Sefa Gömdeniz, Chairman of the Turkmenistan-Türkiye Business Council under the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Türkiye (DEİK), and a delegation led by him paid a courtesy visit to Turkish Ambassador to Turkmenistan Shener Jebeji, the Embassy of Türkiye in Turkmenistan reported on its X social media account.
During the meeting, the sides discussed trade and economic relations between Türkiye and Turkmenistan, as well as opportunities for cooperation between business communities in the two countries.
According to DEİK’s website, the Turkmenistan-Türkiye Business Council operates under the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Türkiye and works to develop business ties between the two countries. The council aims to expand business contacts, support cooperation between Turkmen and Turkish companies, and develop trade and economic relations.
As previously reported, Shener Jebeji was appointed Türkiye’s ambassador to Turkmenistan in 2026. He also presented his credentials to Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on Aug. 28.
