President of Turkmenistan and Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed decrees awarding high state honors to military personnel and employees of Turkmenistan’s military and law enforcement agencies, as well as conferring military and special ranks and professional qualifications, Turkmen state media reported Sunday.
Under the documents, a group of military personnel and law enforcement employees were awarded military and special ranks, as well as professional qualifications, on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Independence.
In addition, a group of military personnel and employees were awarded Turkmenistan’s medals for their services in ensuring the Independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity and security of the homeland, strengthening its defense capabilities, and maintaining public and legal order, as well as for their achievements in exemplary performance of their duties.
A group of leaders, military personnel and employees of military and law enforcement agencies were also awarded the Turkmenistan jubilee medal “Participant in the Ceremonial Military Parade Dedicated to the 35th Anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Independence” for their active participation in the ceremonial military parade dedicated to the 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Independence and their personal contributions to its successful organization.
