National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with Ahmet Chalyk, chairman of the board of Çalyk Holding, and Erman Ylyjak, chairman of the board of Rönesans Holding, who arrived in Turkmenistan to attend celebrations marking the 35th anniversary of the country’s independence, Turkmenistan’s official media reported Monday.
During the meetings, the Turkish business leaders congratulated Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Turkmen people on the 35th anniversary of independence. They conveyed warm greetings and best wishes from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
During the meeting with Ahmet Chalyk, the sides exchanged views on the current state of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Türkiye in energy, textile manufacturing, construction and other sectors.
The meeting with the head of Rönesans Holding focused on the company’s longstanding cooperation with Turkmenistan and issues related to further developing economic relations between the two countries.
At the end of the meetings, National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov conveyed his best wishes and wished success in their work to the head of Çalyk Holding and Rönesans Holding Chairman Erman Ylyjak.
