Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian arrived in Turkmenistan on Oct. 8 to participate in a meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States and the Caspian Environmental Summit, IRNA reported.
In Turkmenbashi, the Iranian president was welcomed by Rashid Meredov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan.
According to the press service of the President of Iran, during the visit, Pezeshkian will also hold meetings with the heads of state of countries participating in the two summits.
The visit’s program also includes a visit to an exhibition showcasing the achievements of the CIS countries and Iran.
